Fl. rounded, 75mm wide; perianth and other petaloid segments in several whorls; the outer segments 35mm long, very broad, roundish, blunt to truncate, spreading, plane to a little concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments successively shorter, inflexed and deeply concave or folded inwards along midrib towards centre; corona segments half the length of the outer perianth segments, densely frilled and interspersed among inner perianth segments, smooth.
