A clump-forming, deciduous perennial to around 40cm in height, with striking streaked leaves. The wavy and corrugated green foliage is marked with dashes of yellow and white. Upright stems of lavender flowers appear in the summer. This zesty cultivar can be a little unstable and prone to reversion, plant in dapple shade or morning sun for best colour and remove reversion when you divide

How to Grow

Cultivation

Grow in a shady spot in fertile soil that does not dry out, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Mulch annually in spring. Hostas in the ground may need watering during dry spells. See hosta cultivation for more detailed advice
