An arching, clump-formi,ng deciduous perennial with blue-green leaves and wide, creamy-white margins. The foliage is rippled and corrugated, providing an eye-catching texture. Mature plants reach heights of 40-50cm and spreads to 1.1m. Pale lavender flowers bloom in July and August, on stems of up to 90cm

How to grow

Cultivation

Grow in a shady spot in fertile soil that does not dry out, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Mulch annually in spring. Hostas in the ground may need watering during dry spells. See hosta cultivation for more detailed advice
