Fl. rounded, 85mm wide; perianth segments 37mm long, roundish, very broad, white, prominently mucronate, spreading or a little reflexed, shallowly concave either side of the midrib, of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments a little narrower; corona 37mm long, bowl-shaped, smooth, yellow, sometimes touched orange at rim, mouth expanded, irregularly lobed, with lobes overlapping in places, heavily frilled, with rim crenate.
