Fl. rounded, 93mm long; perianth segments 38mm long, very broadly ovate, blunt, mucronate, spreading, plane, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half; the inner segments shouldered at base; corona 22mm long, cup-shaped, ribbed, yellow blending to orange from mid way along corona towards rim, mouth straight and frilled, with rim crenate. Early to mid-season. Sunproof. Slightly scented
