A clump-forming, deciduous perennial with long, narrow, deeply-veined, green leaves, edged with golden-yellow margins which fade to cream as the season progresses. The main clump has a height of 25cm. The stems tower above the foliage, with pale purple flowers blooming from late August to early September

Cultivation
