Massonia 'Outeniqua'

A low-growing, deciduous, perennial bulbous plant 3 to 6cm in height, which grows in winter and is dormant in summer, bearing two, fleshy, oval to oblong, green leaves, that lie close to the soil surface. Their upper surface is textured and covered in small, dark green, wart-like bumps. A dense cluster of shaving-brush-like white flowers with prominent, upright, white stamens, tipped with yellow pollen, appear at ground level between the leaves, from November to December
