A rhizomatous perennial to 1.5m or more, with glossy, lance-shaped green leaves to 20cm in length, powdery white on the undersides. Racemes of fragrant, bright yellow flowers with prominent red stamens appear from summer through to autumn

In containers or under glass, use a peat-free. loam-based compost and grow on in bright, indirect light
