Fl. 42mm wide, facing downwards; perianth segments 17mm long, ovate, acute, mucronate, brilliant greenish yellow 6A, reflexed, convex, slightly creased, of heavy substance, overlapping at base only; the inner segments narrower; corona 18mm long, cylindrical, lightly ribbed, vivid yellow 9A, mouth flared, ribbed and frilled, with rim dentate. Dwarf. Early. Sunproof. Faintly scented

How to Grow

Cultivation

Plant at one and a half to two times its own depth in autumn. Will tolerate most soils but prefers moderately fertile, well-drained soil that is constantly moist during the growing season. See daffodil cultivation for further advice
