A dwarf, clump-forming, bulbous perennial to around 20cm high, with green, strap-shaped leaves. Strongly fragrant, lemon-yellow flowers with swept-back petals and a lemon-yellow cup with a wide white rim appear in March. Naturalises well

How to Grow

Cultivation

Plant at one and a half to two times its own depth in autumn. Will tolerate most soils but prefers moderately fertile, well-drained soil that is constantly moist during the growing season. See daffodil cultivation for further advice
