Fl. 34mm wide, facing slightly downwards; perianth segments 14mm long, ovate to oblong, blunt, brilliant yellow 7A, reflexed, somewhat concave, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping one-third to half; the inner segments narrower and more nearly oblong; corona 14mm long, cylindrical, smooth, vivid yellow 9A, mouth flared, ribbed and lobed, with rim dentate. Dwarf. Early. Sunproof. Sweetly scented

How to Grow

Cultivation

Plant at one and a half to two times its own depth in autumn. Will tolerate most soils but prefers moderately fertile, well-drained soil that is constantly moist during the growing season. See daffodil cultivation for further advice
