Fls 8-11 per stem, 35mm wide; perianth segments roundish, very broad, blunt, mucronate, pale yellow, spreading or a little reflexed, plane or with margins slightly incurved, with midrib showing, of membranaceous substance, overlapping to one-third; the inner segments narrower, more nearly spathulate, somewhat shouldered at base, spreading; corona 7mm long, cup-shaped, strong yellow, broadly ribbed, mouth wavy and slightly expanded, with rim entire.
