A compact, hardy, well-branched, deciduous, clump-forming perennial to around 50cm in height, with strap-like green leaves and upright, hairy stems. Single, anemone-like flowers are bright pink with a reddish-brown central cone, appearing from mid summer and sometimes lasting through until the autumn
