Fl. forming a double triangle, 98mm wide; perianth segments 43mm long, roundish, very broad, blunt or truncate, prominently mucronate, reflexed, plane with margins incurling towards apex, smooth and of heavy substance, overlapping half or more; the inner segments ovate, scarcely mucronate, more nearly spreading; corona 11mm long, shallow bowl-shaped, ribbed, mouth expanded, lobed and lightly frilled, with rim minutely crenate. Late
