A compact, annual vegetable to around 60cm in height with green leaves and purple flowers. It produces small, marbled purple and white-flecked fruits with firm flesh and a lovely flavour, maturing early in the season. Harvest from August onwards. Ideal for growing in containers on a patio or in a mixed edibles border
