Alpine Rockery Herbaceous Perennial

A compact, hardy, vigorous, clump-forming, evergreen perennial to around 30cm tall, with a neat, rounded habit and rosettes of fleshy, toothed, strap-shaped green leaves. Clusters of bright, intense red, star-shaped flowers appear on short, upright stems in spring, with a second flush of flowers appearing from September through to the first frosts. Great for filling pots and containers, drought-tolerant once established and attractive to pollinators. Only fully-hardy over winter if grown in well-drained soil
