A compact, medium-sized, clump-forming, decidous perennial with narrow, eliptic, soft olive-green, glossy leaves with a yellow/cream marginal. The leaves are ribbed and well presented in overlapping layers. A sport of Hosta 'Yellow splashed'. Upright stems of purple flowers appear in the summer
