A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing fleshy rosettes, with spoon-shaped, pale green leaves flushed red, the new spring growth bright yellow cream. Tall spikes of starry pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets
