A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing fleshy rosettes to 10cm across, the spoon-shaped, sharply-pointed, pale apple-green leaves, turning glowing orange-red in spring and summer. Tall spikes of starry pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets

Cultivation
