A large, clump-forming deciduous perennial to 70cm high, and up to 1.8m across. Leaves are ovate, mid green and deeply veined, with a very irregular, narrow white margin sometimes streaking into the centre of the leaf. Produces loose clusters of very pale purple flowers, on stems up to 1m high in summer

Cultivation
