A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing large, downy rosettes, with spoon-shaped, thick, velvety bluish-green leaves tipped dark brown and blushed red in full sun. Tall spikes of starry pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets

Cultivation
