Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun and sheltered spot. In colder areas apply dry mulch such as bark; the foliage of this cultivar is likely to be damaged during colder winter weather. Alternatively grow in a container and protect from winter weather. Propagate mature clumps by division every in spring
