A mat-forming, evergreen succulent producing large, fleshy rosettes, with spoon-shaped, pale grey-green leaves, heavily flushed deep burgundy-purple and edged with fine white hairs. Tall spikes of starry pink flowers produced from mature rosettes, die off after flowering in summer and are replaced by new offsets

Cultivation
