Annual species to about 30cm tall, with feathery, dissected, grey-green leaves, sweetly-scented when crushed. Produces yellowish-green, dome-shaped flowerheads with white papery bracts, from early summer onwards, pineapple-scented when crushed. Forms colonies in disturbed soil, especially in waste places, along tracks and paths
