Lindera chienii

Spreading shrub or small tree about 5m tall with thin dark green leaves to 15cm long, turning pale yellow to orange-red in autumn. Masses of small, greenish-yellow flowers produced in large umbels in early spring, are followed by scarlet berries on female plants if pollinated by a male plant
