Terms and conditions for the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival, River Cottage and Learning with Experts prize draw

  • The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. To enter the prize draw, entrants need to follow The RHS, River Cottage and Learning with Experts accounts on Instagram and comment on the prize draw post tagging someone they’d like to attend the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival with
  • One winner will be selected at random
  • The prize is a pair of tickets (2) to the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival on Saturday 9 July, two (2) flower crown making kits, one (1) signed copy of the River Cottage Great Salads book, and one (1) gift voucher for the Learning with Experts River Cottage Cooking Diploma
  • The River Cottage Great Salads book is provided by River Cottage and the gift voucher for the Learning with Experts River Cottage Cooking Diploma is provided by Learning with Experts
  • The Promoter reserves the right to replace all or any part of the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so
  • The prize draw will run from 11am on the 22 June until the closing date at 11am on 27 June 2022. Entries after this time will not be counted
  •  The prize draw is open to all residents in the UK aged 18 or over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter and prize-supplying companies and their families or anyone else connected with this prize draw
  • The winner will be notified via contact on Instagram within 1 day of the closing date. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 2 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner at random
  • The prize will be awarded to the winner by 4 July 2022. Tickets to the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival and voucher for the River Cottage Cooking Diploma will be sent via email. A signed copy of River Cottage Great Salads and 2x flower crown kits will be sent via post.
  • Transport to and from the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival is not included
  • The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it
  • The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the prize winner and, if applicable a copy of their winning entry, to anyone who emails [email protected] within 1 month after the closing date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at [email protected]. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request
  • Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry
  • Instagram usernames will be exported to the Promotor’s network to enable us to draw a random winner. This data will not be retained on the Promoter's systems once a winner has been drawn except as set out below
  • Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected
  • Instagram is not a sponsor of this prize draw. Entrants are required to release Instagram from any liability related to this prize draw
  • The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts

  • Privacy Statement: Unless you have chosen to receive other information from us, your username provided to Instagram will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of running the prize draw, including contacting the winner and distributing the prize. The personal data of all entrants including the winner will be kept for a period of 140 days from the closing date and then deleted.
