Entry into the prize draw to win a delicious afternoon tea and a glass of bubbles for four people has now closed
Explore the beautiful gardens and seasonal highlights at RHS Harlow Carr, North Yorkshire, where you and three guests can enjoy an afternoon tea accompanied by a glass of prosecco at the popular Bettys Café Tea Rooms. Entry to RHS Harlow Carr is included.
Afternoon tea includes a selection of homemade finger sandwiches and miniature cakes inspired by seasonal ingredients and annual celebrations.
All entries must be submitted by midnight on Monday 9 September 2024.

Terms and conditions
- The Royal Horticultural Society with registered charity number 222879/SC038262 of 80 Vincent Square, London, SW1P 2PE (the RHS) is the promoter of the prize draw
- The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the RHS their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw
- The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person and joint submissions are not permitted
- All entries must be submitted by scanning the QR code displayed on posters and banners around the RHS Garden, following it to the RHS Harlow Carr prize draw page on the RHS website and entering via the Enter the prize draw link (now closed)
- The prize draw runs until midnight on Monday 9 September 2024 (the Closing Date). Entries received after this time will not be valid
- A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on Tuesday 10 September 2024 (Draw Date)
- The winner will receive an afternoon tea for four people with prosecco wine at Bettys Café Tea Rooms at RHS Harlow Carr. The entrance fee to RHS Harlow Carr is included but travel is not included
- Any incomplete entries will not be considered valid for the prize draw. The RHS accepts no responsibility for any entries which are not completed due to technical interruption, fault, site failure or any other reason
- The winner will be notified by email (using the details provided at entry) on Tuesday 10 September 2024. If the winner does not respond to the RHS within five working days of being notified by the RHS, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited. The RHS will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above
- Full details of the prize will be sent to the winner by email within 30 days of their being notified of their win
- The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered
- The RHS reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the RHS’s control makes it necessary to do so
- The decision of the RHS regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it
- The RHS must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the RHS will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails [email protected] (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date. If you object to either or both of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the RHS at [email protected]. In such circumstances, the RHS must still provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request
- Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The RHS reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions
- The RHS reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so
- Insofar as is permitted by law, the RHS, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the RHS, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected
- The prize draw is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts
Privacy Statement: Unless you have chosen to receive other information from us, your personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be used by the RHS for the purpose of running the prize draw, including contacting the winner and distributing the prize, and as set out in condition 14 regarding the announcement of the winner. The personal data of the winner will be kept for a period of 140 days from the Closing Date and then deleted. For all other entrants, the retention period is 60 days.
