My work involves maintaining the grounds at Plumpton College to a high standard and making sure planted areas have seasonal interest. As a land-based college with an interest in horticultural subjects, it’s important for the team to set a good example.

The apprenticeship is a great way to help change to an entirely new career and gain a qualification while still earning a living - whatever your age. I'm a career changer and I couldn’t be happier.

At One Garden Brighton, a historic walled garden opening to the public, it’s amazing to be involved at the start of the project. This blank canvas provides a great opportunity to acquire different horticultural experience as well as knowledge of garden development and restoration.
