Use lavender to create relaxing no-sew bags - ideal for self-regulation, gifts or fundraising for school growing projects.

Preparation and equipment
Preparation
Collect some lavender stems just before the flowers open and hang up to dry (this will be in June - July).
You could buy dried lavender ready to use.
Equipment
- Pretty material
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- Plant pot or other circular item for template
- Dried or fresh lavender flowers
Step by step
- Place the plant pot template onto your material and draw around it
- Cut out the circular shape with scissors
- If using your own lavender flowers, take ten flower sprigs and carefully pick off all the flower buds
- Place a dessert spoonful of lavender flowers in the centre of the material
- Gather the material around the lavender to make a pouch or bag
- Tightly tie the bag with a 15cm length of ribbon
