About the garden

Owned by
Paul Beetham

Managed by North Lincolnshire Council, Normanby Hall Country Park is a beautiful 300-acre estate set in the heart of North Lincolnshire.

Open to the public every day of the year, the park offers the perfect backdrop to your day out. The Victorian walled kitchen garden was built in 1817 to provide fruit, flowers and vegetables for the hall. Following a phased redesign the garden now predominantly operates a 'no-dig' approach where flowers and vegetables are grown organically, many of which can be purchased or can be found in dishes offered in the café.

In the glasshouses, during summer, tomatoes, cucumbers and more unusual vegetables can be found.
Herbaceous borders surround the Hall and its Sunken Garden.
