About the garden

Owned by
Sarah Mead

Come and meet the real team behind the 6.5 acres of contemporary planting, where the gardeners are always experimenting and trying out new ideas. The garden features our RHS Chelsea Flower Show oak egg and planting. Find out whether the banana in the ‘purple palace’ is fruiting and see what’s growing in the veggie garden. See some of the 30,000 spring bulbs, including camassias in the meadow and tulips on the Ha-Ha. Drink in the colours of the gravel garden and watch the cows parade into the parlour from the back lawn.

Enjoy the tearoom, with a cosy wood burner inside for chilly days and a terrace outside on which to enjoy well-earned snacks – all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced in and around the valley. In addition, you can visit the new shop and take advantage of mates' rates on our dairy products, or treat yourself to our recommended garden tours.

The Yeo Valley Organic Garden is one of only a handful of ornamental gardens in Britain to be certified organic by The Soil Association. We look forward to welcoming you.

Please note: this garden is partially accessible.
