We went way back to the time of dinosaurs and ancient plants with a host of Jurassic events, trails and activties to keep the children entertained over the long school vacation during the summer of 2018. Here's what each RHS garden had to offer...

Jurassic DiscoveryRHS Garden Wisley

With Jurassic plant habitats and dinosaur footprints to discover, there were fun activities every day to keep budding adventurers busy throughout the summer holidays.
A daily programme of activities ran throughout the summer holidays, varying from craft, gardening and music workshops, to puppet shows and birds of prey displays.

Young explorers could pick up a sheet in the garden entrance to enjoy a Jurassic journey throughout the garden. They could also discover our dinosaur, dragonfly and dinosaur egg sculptures hiding in the garden, become a Palaeontologist and dig to find dinosaur teeth, bones, claws and fossils, and plant their own mini dinosaur garden to take home
