About the garden

Located in a typical berry village, this contemporary arboretum and remarkable gardens surround a Renaissance manor. Enjoy a walk in the gardens, which are crossed by a romantic river, and admire the stunning collections of roses and other flowers alongside bulbs, fruit trees and regional heritage vegetables – a perfect combination of French elegance and art de Vivre.
The estate contains centenarian boxwoods and a Sequoiadendron giganteum facing the 16th-century manor and outbuildings from the 18th and 19th century. Staying in one of the garden lodges will let a visitor enjoy the garden in any season.
The Domaine de Poulaine is part of the Renaissance 2019 regional project.
