About the garden

Owned by

Esnault Valérie

Located in a typical berry village, this contemporary arboretum and remarkable gardens surround a Renaissance manor. Enjoy a walk in the gardens, which are crossed by a romantic river, and admire the stunning collections of roses and other flowers alongside bulbs, fruit trees and regional heritage vegetables – a perfect combination of French elegance and art de Vivre.

The estate contains centenarian boxwoods and a Sequoiadendron giganteum facing the 16th-century manor and outbuildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Staying in one of the garden lodges lets visitors enjoy the garden in any season. Since 2019 the Domaine de Poulaine has taken part in the Renaissance regional project to showcase places of interest in the region.

Please note: this garden is partially accessible.
