About the garden
Located in a typical berry village, this contemporary arboretum and remarkable gardens surround a Renaissance manor. Enjoy a walk in the gardens, which are crossed by a river, and admire the stunning collections of roses and other flowers alongside bulbs, fruit trees and regional heritage vegetables – a perfect combination of French elegance and art de vivre.
The estate contains centenarian boxwoods, a Sequoiadendron giganteum facing the 16th-century manor and outbuildings dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Since 2019, the Domaine de Poulaines has taken part in the Renaissance regional project to showcase places of interest in the region.
