About the garden
Mannington Hall Gardens offer a peaceful space to explore, surrounded by a moated medieval manor. The gardens are designed to be welcoming and accessible. A highlight for many visitors is the Heritage Rose Garden, which features an extensive collection of roses. From early summer onward, the gardens burst with colour and fragrance, showcasing both classic and modern varieties. Wildflower meadows provide food and habitat for bees, butterflies and other wildlife. Woodland and lakeside walks meander through the grounds, offering plenty of spots to pause and take in the views or observe the wildlife that inhabits the gardens.
The gardens are well-suited for families. Children can explore the trails, wade in the stream or enjoy the open spaces. Whether you are a keen gardener seeking inspiration, a walker appreciating the North Norfolk countryside or someone looking for a peaceful place, Mannington offers a relaxed and inviting environment.
With a strong focus on conservation and biodiversity, Mannington Hall Gardens authentically blend heritage, horticulture and habitat. Visitors are encouraged to take their time, explore the various paths and plantings and experience the tranquillity that makes this part of Norfolk special.
