About the garden
The One Garden is a beautifully reinvented walled garden, offering visitors a destination where heritage meets innovation. This vibrant space is designed for everyone, whether you come for plants, pleasure, or a relaxed meeting spot. At its heart are 12 themed gardens that showcase creative solutions for urban conditions and smaller spaces, alongside productive areas brimming with traditional fruit and vegetables. Each garden is thoughtfully curated to inspire ideas you can take home, making it a dynamic blend of history and modern design.
Beyond the gardens is One Kitchen that serves freshly baked pastries, cakes, and seasonal dishes, complemented by expertly crafted coffee and Plumpton Estate wines. One Market brings the garden to you with fresh produce, plants, and locally sourced goods, supporting Brighton and Sussex artisans. A year-round events programme adds even more variety, from creative workshops and family activities to live music and tastings.
