About the garden
Developed in the late 18th century as the pleasure grounds and kitchen garden by the Fitzwilliams of Wentworth Woodhouse, the gardens fell into disrepair after World War II. They have since been substantially restored with funding from the family-owned garden centre. Features include a maze.
The formal Italian Garden and its canal pond have been completely renovated, complemented by the addition of various topiary and herbaceous borders.
