A clump-forming deciduous perennial to 45cm high. Leaves are broadly ovate and slightly twisted, and bright green with a narrow cream margin and deeply impressed veins. Produces loose clusters of trumpet-shaped, fragrant, pale purple flowers on upright stems to almost a metre high in summer
