An upright, narrow, semi-evergreen to evergreen sub-shrub to 3m in height, with maple-shaped lobed velvety green foliage. Large, hibiscus-like, cup shaped mauve-pink flowers with dark pink-striped centres appear from summer to autumn. Becomes more hardy with age
