This heritage variety was introduced in 1902 and produces sweet and tender cobs with kernels that are slightly larger than the more modern varieties. It will happily grow in cooler conditions and is both vigorous and early, ensuring it is still a popular variety today. Sow indoors: April to May. Sow / plant outdoors: May to June.
