Annual or short-lived perennial plant about 1m tall, with alternate green leaves to 15cm long, each identified by a large terminal lobe and 2 small side lobes, and pale yellow, dandelion-like flowers with 8-15 ray florets, in loose panicles, with a much branched, leafy stem flowering from mid summer to early autumn
