A low-growing, clump-forming rhizomatous perennial to around 30cm high, with basal rosettes of lobed and toothed green leaves. Soft, semi-double upward-facing, nodding orange to yellow flowers are held on stems above the foliage from late spring to late summer. Ideal for the front of a flower border. The name means 'Evening Sun' in German
