A late, dessert apple with greenish-yellow skin, a red flush, and all-over russetting. At its best has crisp, crunchy, dry flesh with a rich, sweet-sharp taste. The fruit needs to hang on the tree as late as possible to develop the full flavour, but is also prone to cracking. A vigorous tree, cropping in late autumn, fruit storing to late winter. Requires a group 3, 4 or 5 pollinator
