A succulent, spreading evergreen subshrub to about 15cm tall, forming a thick trunk-like main stem with brown woody branches. Most of the densely arranged, tiny fleshy, greyish-green leaves are in clusters near the tips of the branches, and bears star-shaped, bright yellow flowers during summer
