A strong, clump-forming, bushy tuberous perennial to around 120cm in height, with dark green serrated leaves. Ball-shaped flowers will all have their own individual red and white colouring with no two flowers being the same; some may open pure white but will be followed by another which is mixed. These appear from summer through until the first frosts. A rare, unusual heritage variety which is also known by the name 'York and Lancaster'
