A heavy cropping, dessert cultivar bearing large, round to oblong apples with a yellowish skin covered in red blushes and broken stripes; if grown in conditions of strong sunlight, fruits will exhibit a pronounced pink flush. The flesh of the apples is crisp with a sweet-tart flavour but fruits bruise easily and are best eaten fresh as they have a tendancy to go soft in storage
