How to grow
Cultivation
Under glass, grow in peat-free, loam-based potting compost with added sharp sand, in full light. In growth, water moderately and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser monthly; water sparingly in winter. Outdoors, grow in moderately fertile, ideally sandy, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Provide support
Propagation
Propagate by sowing seed in spring. Root semi-ripe cuttings in late summer
