A mid-season, dessert apple with golden skin, and extensive russetting. The cream flesh is crisp and juicy with a sweet, nutty, aromatic flavour. Trees crop well in early autumn, the fruit storing to mid-winter. Partially self-fertile, but crops better with a group 2, 3 or 4 pollinator

How to Grow

Cultivation

Prefers deep, fertile, moist but well-drained, neutral soil in a sunny, sheltered position. Will not thrive on very acid soils, shallow chalk soils or with shade for more than half the day. May require fruit thinning to improve fruit size and quality. See apple cultivation
