bean (runner) 'Czar'
A twining climber reaching 3m with green leaves. This heritage variety has white flowers which develop into runner beans. These can either be eaten fresh or the pods can be left to mature and the seeds inside stored as dried beans for the winter. In the UK it is grown as a summer annual, lasting only one year.
