A famous winter squash cultivar producing stems to approximately 60cm (2ft) high and 1.8m (6ft) across. Each plant is able to produce up to six rugby ball-shaped fruits weighing around 1.5 kg (3 lbs), each which when ripe are a pale orange colour. When harvested and baked, the flesh can be forked out and forms spaghetti-like strands which can be used in exactly the same way as the pasta version, but is considerably less calorific!
