Deciduous tree about 10-15m in height with grey to pale brown bark, and distinctive, deeply divided 3-lobed dark green leaves 15cm long and wide, yellow to brown in autumn. Yellow spring flowers are produced in clusters and these are followed by large yellow-brown winged fruits in autumn
